Fellowship Among the Churches (October 2020)

To all the elders, responsible brothers, and co-workers:

Changes in arrangement

Please be advised that we shall have changes in the arrangement to the forthcoming virtual Fellowhip Among Churches (FAC) of Regions 1-6 and the National Capital Region (NCR), this month of October.

The compelling feeling we have received from among the churches is the burden to: (1) hear the messages as spoken in the ITERO, (i.e. timely, healthy and weighty); and (2) take care of the blending, that is, the essence of practical oneness enjoyed in the FAC that we have long treasured over the many years.

In this regard, we felt obliged to adjust the schedule and conduct of the FAC and trust the full support and participation of the churches and all the serving saints.

We understand that some areas have already made plans based on earlier announcement. We apologize for this short notice and any inconvenience this may cause. Nevertheless we have no doubt that all these are working together for good to all of us who love God and are called according to His purpose.

Thank you, dear saints, for bearing the cross to accommodate these changes, for the sake of the building-up of the Body. Grace be with us all.

Contents of the conference

The eight (8) messages will come from the International Training for Elders and Responsible Ones (ITERO) with the general subject: ‘The Christian Life, the Church Life, the Consummation of the Age, and the Coming of the Lord’.

The English messages will be the replay of the ITERO, while the Tagalog messages will be the direct translation from LSM of the same messages. (There will be no re-speaking from our local brothers as we used to do.)

The messages will be played via Zoom thru a link directly from LSM. This link will be provided by the FTTM to all FAC locations.

The Work will announce which regions need to group together for blending. Large Zoom locations, with up to 500 links each, are identified to host the blending conference among the churches in different regions. The schedule of the training sessions are synchronized to allow for corporate message viewing and blending in the break-out rooms, whenever time allows.

Requirements

All saints and gospel friends from 13yrs old and above may attend. No registration fee will be collected. Incidental expenses, i.e. copying, internet, etc., will have to be addressed locally.

Language options

The saints may attend either or both the Tagalog or/and English sessions. (Note: Tagalog and English sessions are held on different dates.

Pre-registration is important to plan for the FAC locations and other logistical arrangement. We therefore ask the co-workers in the region and elders in NCR to advise immediately the following data per city/province for grouping purposes:

• Tagalog
  • Expected number of devices to connect
  • Expected number of saints
• English
  • Expected number of devices to connect
  • Expected number of saints
