Dear Saints,
In the light of the recent developments related to the COVID-19 infection spreading in Metro Manila and the entire country, we would cooperate with the governments’ orders to follow safety measures and protocols to stop the further spread of the infection. We also urge the saints to follow these standards for the sake of all our safety.
Below is a consolidated update with regards to the schedules of the activities of the churches and the FTTMa.
Temporary Shutdown of the FTTMa Training Center
The training center will now temporarily suspend the training for at least one month, pending upon the development of the situation. Classes are now suspended and trainees who could travel are now sent home.
For trainees who could not travel, lockdown is observed within the training center. Going out and visitation are prohibited. For further clarification, please call the training center contact numbers.
Cancelled Schedules
The serving brothers, after substantial fellowship, are officially cancelling our upcoming scheduled conferences and trainings:
- Fellowship Among the Churches of Reg. I-VI
- Middle-Aged Training in Baguio
- Propagation of Trainees all throughout Luzon (5-day and weekend gospel assignments)
- Teachers’ Blending Conference
Concerning refund of payments already forwarded, please see the specific section below.
Enjoyment of the ITERO messages
For the saints to not miss the up-to-date ministry of the word and enjoy the messages from ITERO, which is supposed to be spoken during the FAC, we will enjoy these messages through video viewing sessions to be arranged by the local churches on the same dates as originally scheduled for FAC.
Guidelines for this will be released as soon as finalized.
Changes in other schedules
Please wait for further advice on the movement of the schedules of the Metro Manila Perfecting Training, and of the activities of the Full-time Training in Malabon. For the schedule of ICTA 2020, please refer to its official website: ictainphilippines.org.
Refund of payments
Payments for all activities cancelled will be returned by locality. We are now in the process of collating and verifying this information in order to process its refund. Please give us until the last week of March to start the return of funds.
To put this process in order, we will follow these guidelines:
- The registration service will coordinate directly with the co-workers, elders and serving ones based in different local churches who were responsible for the registration of the said activities. We request the saints to coordinate with the serving ones in the local churches, and not with the training center personnel directly.
- A list of received payments eligible for refund will be sent to the above-mentioned serving ones for confirmation and verification. For payments made through bank deposits, please make sure that you have emailed the deposit slips for easier verification.
- If the serving ones of the local church decide to repurpose a part or the entirety of the received payments to settle other church accounts such as LC account payments, training donation fees for FTTMa trainees, or other accounts or offerings, they are responsible to clarify this to the saints in the church and are responsible for refunding to the original payers.
- The serving ones may choose a suitable method for fund transfer, such as bank deposit to an account, money transfer service, electronic/on-line money transfer, or any option agreeable to the registration service. For nearby areas, they may also arrange to pick up the amount in person in the training center.
- Refund will be collated for all activities, for all the saints in the same local church, and will be sent per church (or cluster of churches), not individually.
- Payments of deposit fees or money transfer fees and other charges will be deducted from the total refundable amount.
- The registration department will be responsible only for the transfer of the received payment to the serving ones in the local churches. The local serving ones are responsible for distributing the refunded payments to their intended recipients. The registration service of the training center is not liable for any loss after the refund has been handed over to the agreed fund transfer facility.
This is a difficult situation. The brothers have made some decisions from our heart to protect the saints and yet not to discount the enjoyment of our church life. We need much prayer under His sovereignty.
Heb. 6:11-12: “But we desire earnestly that each of you show the same diligence unto the full assurance of our hope until the end, that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and long-suffering are inheriting the promises.”
Sincerely,
The serving brothers
